Option 4: It is unethical that some sportmen earn so much money

Nowadays, sports are very important in our society. They are a healthy way of distraction and they also generata a lot of ocmpetitivity, vere present in current generations. For this reason, it's normal that sports move a lot of money, but a huge part of that money is only moved by a minority, especially by men's soccer. So, is ethical that this athletes have this high amount of money? In my opinion it is not. 

Firts of all, they devote their lives in football, but they aren't the only ones. Hundreds of other athletes also live only for sport, and it's unfair that they don't receive the ssame as footballers. For example, since I have five I'm practising rythmic gymnastics and I know that olympic gymnast don't earn the same quantity of money andthey don't have the dsame recognitiion as other sportmen, although these girls are the recent world champions in this discipline and they probably train twice as much as footballers. 

Furthermore, it's hard to understand that this people earn so much money whereas, on the other side of the world, some people are dying because they don't have enough money to buy essential things like food.

In conclusion, it's a problem of the society that we live in, and I think we all in general should do a change of mentality. 

VIDIO: FLIPPING THE CLASSROOM

This vidio show us a different way to do class: flipped classrooms.

When we think of a classroom, we think of students sitting on tables listening to the teacher. We might think that's a good way to learn because for a long time ago it's the way that schools work, but not all students learn equal and at the same speed. To this problem, flipped classroom is the solution. 

In flipped classrooms, teacher make a vidio of all the contents that he want to teach and he share it with the students. They can watch it many times as they want and come in class with doubts. In class, they apply with activities the contents that they have learned in the vidio with teacher's help. This way, education become more personal and effective.

In conclusion, this type of learning should be more important in the future in order to improve the educational system and give possibilities to all types of students.

PROJECT 1 

Be a weatherman/weatherwoman for a day!!! In pairs or individually, record the weather forecast for the next week in your area or region (Girona or Catalonia).

I've done the project with Laura Roura. We explain the weather forecast for the next weekend in Banyoles: 

Weather forecast for 24/10/15 in "The lazy mornings"

Laura: Good morning! It’s nine a.m. and you’re listening “The lazy mornings” in radio    Banyoles! We all know that the next week is St. Martirià, so we’re all hoping that we  have a fine weather.  To know this, now we’re with our weatherwomen Abril. Good  morning!

Abril: Hello Laura! Nice to be with you again!

Laura: Explain to us which is the weather prediction for the next Saturday
             please.

Abril: Of course! First of all, the general temperatures will rise three degrees. Saturday  morning will be overcast, but the clouds will disappear partially to the midday. In the  evening the weather will be kept. The maximum temperature will be of 22 degrees and  the minimum of 11. The dampness will be high all day but the wind will be almost void.

Laura: That’s a great new! And what can you say for our young listeners who go out in  the night?

Abril: Oh! At night will not make bitter cold, but I recommend them to bring a sweater  because the temperatures will go a little down. And be careful if you will have to drive!  To the dawn it will have a bit thick fog.

Laura: Great! That way it’s sure to spend a good weekend! Thank you very much! See you    next week Abril!

Abril: You’re welcome! Have a good celebration weekend! 

WRITING: INFORMAL EMAIL

Option 1: An English-speaking friend wants to spend a two-week holiday in your region (Girona, Pla de l’Estany) and has written asking for information and advice. Write a letter to him/her.

Hi Anna!

I was so happy to hear about you! How are things in London?

I write you to answer the email you sent me last week. Sorry for answering it so late! I’ve been very busy these days. You told me that your family and you want to come to Banyoles on holiday this summer. This is a fantastic news for me!

If you come, you must visit the lake; it’s really awesome! It’s the most important tourist attraction of the city and there you can practise a lot of activities, because in summer there’s a fantastic weather (not like in London!!). If you want, we can meet and go swimming. You can also visit the hills near Pla de l’Estany, they have incredible views!

If you don’t like sport, you can find other interesting cultural activities, like museums and others. And if you don’t like any of this, in summer there are sales, so you can go shopping in Girona!

In addition, you can’t leave Catalunya without visiting costa Brava beaches. I recommend you Cadaqués and Tamariu but all are amazing. And of course, I recommend visiting Barcelona, the capital, at least for one day.
